Getting Over A Break Up When Your Heart Is Broken

It is difficult to imagine that anything can cause more pain than when your heart is broken. 

Which ever one of you it was who brought a stop to everything, you both feel pain after a break up.   There may have been a good reason why it happened or it may have come about for no reason at all.

Getting over a break up is all important.  You must avoid holding on to a love that has been lost.  There is nothing worse than to become the hero of a romance that has turned sour when your heart is broken. 

You owe it to yourself to get over your ex as it is going to prove toxic to any future relationship you get involved in.    Remember that you have to tackle the pain directly and handle the problem.  There is no escaping from it; you cannot suppress it and taking pills is not going to help deal with it. 

You will learn that there is no way out of a broken heart but only a way through.   You cannot fight the fact that it is going to cause great pain and so learn to accept it.  There are some people who do this by writing the story about it, others turn it into a poem or a song; others seek counseling.  Don’t look for an easy way of getting over a break up; there isn’t one.  .

Go back into your past and see if there was anything there that could have forced the break up.    Were you abused in your childhood and so became an abuser in this relationship?   All these points will help you better manage your future relationships. 

Take responsibility for your past actions and don’t let yourself become the victim.  Perhaps it was your ex partners fault that actually caused the break up but you both let happen what happened.

So stop making out you are a victim and you will find you a healthier and more attractive person for the next boyfriend or girlfriend.  You will soon see that you are often what you want to be.   If you imagine you are a victim, you are sure to be the victim.     When you see yourself as someone who could be desired by others your opinion of yourself takes a leap forward.  

The pain will just continue if you don’t let your broken heart heal and you will never recover from the break up.    You have to let flow your emotions when your heart is broken, if it is to be allowed to heal. 

When your heart is broken it takes a lot of time and much of your effort.  You would be unwise to underestimate all the factors that contribute to curing a broken heart.

Someone very important in your life has jus left it.  Use this period to learn from the experience and become a stronger person with better future relationships.   You have now learned the art of getting over a break up.
